Beauty and the Beast is not just the tale of a beautiful girl and a gruesome beast. It is a lesson in love. And also…how not to love. Ahem, Gaston. Both the Beast and Gaston have their good qualities, and both also have their bad qualities. The Beast is, well, hairy, and even though he learns by the end of the movie, he was quite vain. But he does learn to love himself and others and he has the greatest library in the history of libraries. Vain, though, does not even begin to cover the problems with Gaston. He doesn’t read books and he has a weird little ponytail, but he is super handsome and manly and quite the provider. We have two handsome, eligible bachelors.
