We all know the big laws: don’t speed, cross at a crosswalk, and try not to kill anybody. We (hopefully) all know the basic laws that govern where we live and we know not to break them. Or at least you think you know. After all, it can’t be real that it’s illegal to push a moose out of a moving airplane in Alaska. That would mean that someone would have had to have tried that! Furthermore, lawmakers would have had to pass that as a law.
So, as you can see, laws can get really weird, niche, and useless-sounding when you really dig for them. This is especially true for each state in the United States. States have their own laws that don’t stem from federal regulations, so they can get super-duper weird. Too weird to sound true, one might believe. But, believe us! All of these laws are 100% real. Can you guess which state goes to what bizarre law? Take this quiz to see how well you do!

Here, it's illegal to call imitation butter any variance of butter. You can't use the words "dairy" or "creamy" to describe it either, and you especially can't use a dairy cow in your marketing. Where is this an actual law?
