Happy Thanksgiving! It’s everyone’s favorite problematic holiday. Large communal dinners with our loved ones (with or without tense political conversations), a feast of delicious food, and day drinking galore! Yes, it comes with an intensely awful history of corrupt colonizers infecting Native Americans with foreign diseases and taking advantage of their hospitality for their own political gain, but that’s America for you! And now we have Thanksgiving.

So what do you know about it, really? The icky history, the dishes served through time, the weird political implications of it all. So, let’s talk turkey, do you really know your stuff(ing)? That’s it when it comes to puns for us, so you’re free from here on out! Don’t consult your history textbook to study up for this because it probably lied to you in the first place. Maybe consult Twitter? They’ll give you something closer to the truth. Or at least try to.
