It’s a region rich in leisure, culture, art, and fashion. As everyone knows, rich culture usually means dialects and lifestyles unique to that area. The Midwest is known for some particularly unique slang and turns of phrase. Some of these are so out there, you would have had to have been born and raised there to understand them.
